Standard All-Axle Air Disc-Brakes on LT™ Series

On June 15th, 2017, Hill International Trucks announced it is now offering air disc brakes standard for all LT™series. Beginning immediately, LT 6x4, 6x2, and 4x2 trailers will now feature Bendix® ADB22X™ air disc brakes as a standard feature.

With a patented lightweight design, the Bendix ADB22X air disc brake dramatically reduces stopping distance while extending brake system life. By eliminating brake fade and degradation of stopping power, the Bendix ADB22X is able to provide reliable, straight, and stable stopping power. Additionally, long-lasting air disc brakes like these reduce total cost of ownership by reducing pad change times compared to traditional drums brakes.

This change is only one of hundreds of interactions between a driver and their truck that Hill International Trucks has reviewed and is improving. Enhanced ergonomics provide more driving comfort with increased elbow, hip, and leg room.
